Kolej Teknologi Maju was established in the early 2002. Founded by Mr. John Palani who has extensive experience in Electrical, Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering field. Kolej Teknologi Maju focuses mainly in providing skills and technical education, specially for the school leavers and working employees with the intention to upgrade their skills in line with our country's vision on turning Malaysia into an industrialized nation.

In 2006, Pusat Latihan Teknologi Maju upgraded its business to Sendirian Berhad and was known as Institut Teknologi Maju SDN.BHD. Due to its rapid growth in 2015, Institut Teknologi Maju has again upgraded its name to Kolej Teknologi Maju. In early 2017, Kolej Teknologi Maju started to offer courses and programs at Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) level in Electrical and Mechatronics.

Kolej Teknologi Maju’s objective is to provide skills and technical education to create skilled labours for achieving our country’s vision on turning Malaysia into an industrialized nation. Our vision is to provide skills training to meet the industrial needs. Our mission is to empower skills training through implementation of effective management and courses. 

To date, more than 2000 trainees from Kolej Teknologi Maju has succeed in their respective fields.
